Accessibility
BarcodeOpsKit targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and treats keyboard, reflow, focus, status, and data-table behavior as product requirements.

Target and approach
The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, one visible H1, a skip link, programmatic form labels, visible focus, text-plus-icon statuses, table captions and headers, reduced-motion support, and large primary controls. Technical strings use a readable monospace stack, while barcode graphics have concise text alternatives instead of announcing every bar.
Keyboard and assistive technology
Core workflows are intended to work without a pointer. Dialogs trap focus while open and restore it to the trigger. Validation summaries link to invalid fields. Progress, success, warning, and error changes use appropriate live regions without repeatedly announcing raw data. Sortable tables expose sort state, and mobile alternatives preserve the same row information.
Testing performed
Automated browser checks include axe rules, keyboard paths, focus order, control names, minimum target sizes, and horizontal-overflow checks at 360, 768, 1024, and 1440 pixels where relevant. Stage reports separately record manual keyboard, zoom, reflow, camera, print, and screen-reader smoke notes. An automated axe result is useful evidence but is not treated as complete accessibility proof.
Known limits
Camera permission and native barcode detection differ by browser and operating system. Printed output can vary by viewer, printer driver, scaling setting, media, and device. Complex data tables become labelled cards on narrow screens rather than preserving a wide desktop grid. Third-party browser UI, PDF viewers, and operating-system permission prompts are outside the site's direct control.
Report an accessibility problem
Use the contact and correction process. Include the page path, task, browser, operating system, assistive technology and version, expected behavior, and the barrier encountered. Use synthetic data only; do not attach a real barcode, scan, CSV, label, or workspace backup.
